  • Searching for external research funding? Find information and resources to help you locate relevant funding from external sources, including the Pivot funding search tool.
  • The 2022 application cycle for the "NIH New and Early-Stage Investigator Writing Cohort Program: For Researchers in the Social & Behavioral Sciences" is now open. The program is open to any IUB faculty member in a tenure track or research scientist position who qualifies for NIH New Investigator status. Applications are due April 11. More information and application is available online.
  • IUPUI faculty can apply for Release Time for Research (RTR) funding, which
    allows faculty a "buy out" of teaching time to adequately prepare
    competitive proposals for quality research and scholarly activity. More information is available online. The deadline to apply is April 11.
  • Need equipment, datasets or software to help conduct your research? IU
    researchers can search an online database to find university resources that
    are shareable with researchers or submit their own equipment from their
    laboratory or core to encourage broader use.
  • Faculty are invited to learn more about IU's membership in the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health, a consortium of more than 75 of the world's most recognized academic medical centers and health systems. As a member of the consortium, the IU School of Medicine will have a community of support with other prestigious institutions including a collective voice influencing change. More information is available online through the IU School of Medicine and faculty may attend a June meeting to learn more.
  • IU Bloomington Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute's (CTSI) Retreat takes place virtually on April 26. This year's theme is "Impact of the sociology in health and wellness in times of social change." The event is free. Registration is available online.
  • Mary Murphy, Herman B. Wells Endowed Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences, will present the 2022 Distinguished Faculty Research Award and Lecture, "Faculty as Culture Creators: The Role of Faculty Mindset in Student Success" at 3 p.m. on May 2 at the IU Cinema. The event is open to the public and can also be viewed via Zoom.
