The Carnegie Corporation of New York announced a second phase of the 2024 Andrew Carnegie Fellows Program and a new focus on political polarization in the United States. For at least the next three years, the program will ask scholars to help Americans understand how and why our society has become so polarized and what we can do to strengthen the forces of cohesion in American society. Fellowships are awarded to 30 exceptional scholars, journalists and public intellectuals, for either one or two years, which will enable recipients to, among other things, travel, hire research assistants and take sabbaticals from their institutions to focus on their research. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact your Dean or Associate Dean to learn more about the nomination process.
