Drawing widespread attention from media including NBC News, Forbes, USA Today, and many other media outlets, Natalie Lambert, a research professor of medicine at the IU School of Medicine, recently published a report on COVID-19 "long haulers," people who can suffer from symptoms for weeks or months after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Lambert's report identified 98 symptoms, including many that the CDC had not previously listed, such as hair loss. Lambert plans to expand her research to better understand the long-term experience of COVID-19 patients.

COVID-19 Funding Opportunities
The U.S. Department of Justice National Institute of Corrections is seeking applications for funding to support knowledge sharing around the nationwide correctional challenges that prisons, jails, and community services face during the COVID19 pandemic. The funding amount is $175,000, the application deadline is August 27, 2020.
